Outgoing Agriculture Minister Georgi Tahov will open Bulgaria’s national stand at Berlin International Green Week on January 16, 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food press service said on Thursday.

The world’s largest trade fair for agriculture and the food industry will take place from 16 to 25 January. This year’s edition was a jubilee, as the fair will mark its 100th anniversary in 2026. Bulgaria will participate for the 35th time, presenting its tradition, quality, and innovation in the agri-food sector.

The national participation is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Bulgaria’s stand covers 140 sq m. Fifteen Bulgarian producers are presenting dairy and meat products, wines and organic wines, honey and bee products, organic foods, rose oil, essential and cold-pressed oils, fragrant waters, natural cosmetics, and more. Berlin International Green Week attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and exhibitors from dozens of countries every year.

Alongside the fair, the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture is also taking place this year, including a Conference of Agriculture Ministers with delegates from more than 70 countries.
