site.btaBTA, Svishtov Academy of Economics Sign Indefinite Partnership Agreement

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov (on the Danube) Thursday signed a new agreement on long-term partnership after the expiration of the previous, two-year agreement. 

The two organizations started cooperating two years ago and the initial agreement now is extended indefinitely, said BTA Director General Kiril Valchev. Under the indefinite agreement, BTA will continue receiving regular information about the Academy's various activities, which BTA popularizes in Bulgaria and abroad, and will also give students interested in journalism the opportunity to become interns at the BTA National Press Club in Svishtov.

The Academy of Economics Rector, Prof Mariyana Bozhinova, said that thus far, the cooperation with the BTA has been very fruitful for the educational establishment because of the BTA coverage of its activities. She believes that the Academy is a good place for the Bulgarian News Agency to find young people for its economic team.
