site.bta200 Publishers, Over 9,000 Books at 29th Book Bazaar 2026 in Athens

About 200 publishing houses with more than 9,000 books are taking part in the 29th Book Bazaar being held in the Greek capital Athens, the organizers from the Organization for Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens said.

“The Book Bazaar is an established event that has been loved by the general public for twenty-eight years, offering thousands of book titles at very low prices, starting at just EUR 1,” the organizers noted.

Located at Klavthmonos Square in the city centre, the event will continue until February 15. In addition to books, visitors can also find maps, photo albums, souvenirs and other items.

The event is co-organized by the Association of Book Publishers and the Panhellenic Federation of Book Publishers and Booksellers, under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens.
