The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Monday warned of a 24-hour strike by railway infrastructure maintenance staff in Italy on October 21. In a statement, the Ministry's Situation Center warns that the strike may cause delays and, in some cases, cancellations of train services.

The MFA advises Bulgarian citizens in Italy who are planning to travel by rail to check the current train schedules and, in case of changes, to seek information about rescheduling options or compensation for disrupted journeys.
