Speaking to EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Kaja Kallas in Tirana, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said that “Bulgaria remains consistent in its support for Ukraine and its efforts for peace in Europe,” the Council of Ministers reported on its official Facebook page on Friday. The two officials spoke about the fundamental European support for Ukraine at the key moment of negotiations with Russia.

Zhelyazkov and Kallas agreed that the dialogue on strengthening common European security must continue and that at this moment it is vital to guarantee the democratic rights of citizens in Europe, the Council of Ministers’ post said.

Prime Minister Zhelyazkov is in Tirana to participate in the Sixth European Political Community Summit.
