site.btaScience and Education Take Centre Stage at Found Generation Festival

The fifth edition of one of the season’s major science and education events The Found Generation: The Return festival takes place on April 18 and 19 at the National Palace of Culture, the organizers from Educational Factory announced.

The forum spans on more than 1,000 square metres of exhibition space. Organizers expect over 5,000 visitors and 250 participants from a wide range of professional and creative fields, including education, science, culture, arts, technology, and business. The format was developed by Educational Factory, an initiative that has been working to turn education into an experience and science into a language that is accessible and engaging for all ages for the past nine years.

Visitors can explore five themed zones free of charge, including an exhibition area, a career centre, a technology hub, lecture panels, and live demonstrations. One of the key highlights is the presentation of a hydrogen-powered mobile robot, a technological breakthrough and the first of its kind in Bulgaria, demonstrating that innovation is no longer a distant prospect but a reality unfolding today.

Prominent figures supporting the initiative take part as guest speakers, alongside hands-on demonstration activities on the third floor. In Halls 8 and 9 on the fifth floor of NDK, the speakers will share perspectives that go beyond traditional curricula, raising strategic questions about the future of education, including how to prepare children for a world that does not yet exist.

The festival traditionally attracts visitors from across the country, including children, parents, teachers, school groups, students, and professionals from scientific and academic communities, the organizers added.
