site.btaBulgaria's National Assembly Chair Joins Crimea Platform Parliamentary Summit in Stockholm

Bulgaria's National Assembly Chair Raya Nazaryan is taking part in the 4th Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform in Stockholm today, November 24, the legislature's press office said.

Nazaryan will deliver an address during the main plenary session of the meeting.

Delegates will be welcomed by the Speaker of the Swedish Riksdag, Andreas Norlen, and by the Chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address the participants in a video message.

Since the platform was established in 2021, Bulgaria has taken part in its annual high-level meetings. More than 40 heads of government and parliamentary representatives are expected to take part in the Stockholm forum, as well as the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Roberts Zile, the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Tulia Akson, the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pere Joan Pons, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Theodoros Rousopoulos, and the President of the Nordic Council, Helene Bjorklund.
