site.btaBulgaria to Take Part in European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje


Bulgaria will participate with 34 athletes and 12 coaches at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, which will take place from July 20 to 26.
The country will be represented in the sports of badminton, gymnastics, judo, athletics, swimming, shooting, taekwondo, and table tennis. By exception, the artistic gymnastics events will be held in the Croatian city of Osijek, where six Bulgarian entrants will be fielded.
The Bulgarian delegation to EYOF will be led by the President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC), Vesela Lecheva, and the Secretary General, Danail Dimov. Members of the BOC Executive Committee — Volodya Zlatev, Rumen Stoilov, Slavi Binev, and Lyubomir Ganev — will also attend EYOF.
The Festival will involve athletes from 49 European countries, who will compete in 15 sports.
EYOF is a major event on the calendar of the European Olympic Committees, aimed at athletes aged between 14 and 18.
