Bulgarian tennis player Viktoriya Tomova scored the first French Open women’s doubles win in her career on Wednesday. She and Rebecca Sramkova of Slovakia knocked out Americans Quinn Gleason and Katie Volynets 7-5 6-2 after 89 minutes of play.
They thus advanced to the second round, where they will face Maya Joint (Australia) and Oksana Kalashnikova (Georgia).
