Bulgaria's Desislava Angelova came in fifth in Final A of the women's single sculls event at the 2024 European Rowing Championships in Szeged. She won an Olympic slot for Paris 2024. Kristian Vasilev earned a second Olympic slot for Bulgaria after he was ranked second in Final A of the men's single sculls of the Qualification Regatta, also held in Szeged.
