Biathlete Konstantin Vasilev will make his Winter Olympic Games debut on Tuesday, starting with number 19 in the men’s 20 km individual event.

Vasilev, age 22, will be the first of the four Bulgarian competitors to start, setting off at 2:39 pm on the Antholz-Anterselva course.

The most experienced member of the team, Vladimir Iliev follows. He will start with number 33 at 2:46 pm. Iliev, age 38, has already made his fifth Olympic appearance after competing in the 4x6 km mixed relay on Sunday. His greatest career success came in the 20 km individual event, where he won a silver medal at the 2019 World Championships in Ostersund.

Blagoy Todev, age 24, will start 63rd at 3:01 pm, marking his second Olympic appearance, while around ten minutes later Anton Sinapov, age 32, who is competing in his third consecutive Winter Games, will start with number 80.

A total of 89 competitors are on the start list.
