The systems of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) are ready for the introduction of the euro, Silvia Ivanova, Deputy Director of the Varna Territorial Directorate of the NRA, said on Thursday at an information meeting in Razgrad, part of the National Information Campaign for the Introduction of the Euro in Bulgaria.
"All necessary technical actions have been taken so that from January 1, businesses and citizens can continue to use the NRA's services without hindrance in connection with the fulfillment of their tax and social security obligations and receive the necessary data from the information arrays in connection with the performance of various types of inquiries," she pointed out.
The NRA is also ready with the service for providing a request for the current status of a unified electronic employment record of individuals and legal entities, Ivanova noted.
"If, during inspections carried out jointly with other institutions, an unjustified increase in prices is found by October 8, the NRA shall send a written warning to the trader and may oblige him within a certain period to take specific measures necessary to stop it", she stressed, calling on businesses to be fair to their customers.
