site.bta Arsenal AD, Burgas State University Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

The Arsenal AD military enterprise in Kazanlak announced Monday that it has signed a cooperation memorandum with the Burgas State University. The memorandum includes cooperation in the areas related to attracting university students to participate in practical activities and internships, organizing lectures, trainings, workshops and conferences, as well as partnership on other projects and initiatives of mutual interest.

Arsenal Executive Director Bilyan Toshkov expressed satisfaction with the new partnership, stressing that his company needs knowledgeable people. He emphasized that the knowledge of the students is more important than their grades and will determine their place and future development in the enterprise. 

Burgas State University Rector Prof. Sotir Sotirov pointed out that it is precisely this cooperation between the higher education institution and the business that will help improve the students' practical knowledge and skills. He noted that he has set himself a task in this direction, aiming to focus not only on the theoretical part of the students' university education, but also on practical skills, which has not been sufficiently represented in the last years.
