site.btaConstruction in Bulgaria Increases by 6.1% in July 2025 Y/Y

The construction production in Bulgaria recorded a 6.1% increase in July 2025 compared to July 2024, according to calendar-adjusted data, announced the National Statistical Institute on Wednesday.  The data are preliminary and seasonally adjusted.

Regarding monthly change, the production index in the ‘Construction’ section increased by 0.1% compared to June 2025.

In July 2025, compared to the previous month, an increase of 0.2% was reported in the building construction and 0.1% in the specialized construction activities. A 0.1% decline in the production of civil engineering was also reported.  

In terms of annual change in production between July 2024 and July 2025, specialized construction activities registered an increase of 8.1%, civil engineering - of 5.8%, and construction of buildings - of 4.6%.
