Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria Deputy Floor Leader Lena Borislavova announced on Wednesday on her official Facebook profile that she will not take part in the next early parliamentary elections.

“In recent months, I have been actively working on two new projects through which I will confront, in a new way, arbitrariness, impunity, vulgarity and arrogance in Bulgarian politics,” she wrote.

Borislavova added that she is glad to have had the opportunity to be part of Bulgaria’s break away from an almost 100% energy monopoly dependent on Russia, the country’s accession to Schengen and the euro area, the provision of critically important assistance to Ukraine in the early days of the war, as well as the resistance against a captured judiciary serving the oligarchic model of [GERB Chair Boyko] Borissov and [MRF – New Beginning leader Delyan] Peevski, among other dark forces.
