site.btaStruma Valley Hosts Three-Day Wine Festival in October

The Struma Valley hosts the Struma Wine Fest 2025, a combination of thematic evenings in vineyards, wine tastings, culinary temptations and outdoor fun, from October 3 to 5, the administration of Sandanski Municipality (Southwestern Bulgaria) said on Thursday.

The best winemakers in the region will gather for the three-day festival. An artistic programme and various activities have been planned by the organizers. A themed dinner among the vineyards is scheduled for October 3. The Struma Wine Run along a picturesque eight-kilometre track through the vineyards will take place on October 4. It will include wine tastings and challenges along the way, inspired by the famous Marathon du Medoc in France. Wine tastings and a visit to the Zlaten Rozhen Retro Car Museum in the village of Kapatovo are planned for October 5.

Registration for the event is required in advance.
