The summer season in the coastal city of Varna was officially launched this evening with a vibrant concert performance featuring world-renowned kaval player Theodosii Spassov. The celebration, organized by Varna Municipality, took place under the motto “Varna – Where Time Flows Differently.”

Varna Mayor Blagomir Kotsev addressed the citizens, expressing confidence that this year's summer season will be both strong and extended. He emphasized that his administration is working hard to attract more tourists, particularly during the shoulder months before and after peak summer. “This is why we are launching the season earlier this year,” Kotsev noted.

He also highlighted an ambitious cultural calendar planned for the coming months, packed with events designed to draw visitors from across Bulgaria and abroad.

Friday night's concert brought together established artists and rising stars from the performing arts scene. The show was further enriched with acrobatic acts and street performances, adding a dynamic and festive atmosphere to the seaside city’s summer kickoff.
