30th Golden Quill Awards to Honour Outstanding Contributors to Bulgarian Culture

For the 30th time, the Golden Quill Awards will honour outstanding artists for their contributions to Bulgarian culture. The ceremony will take place at the City Mark Art Center in Sofia on Friday, May 23. It is organized by the Cantus Firmus music agency and Makta Gallery, who established the award to highlight the importance of spiritual values during Bulgaria’s challenging transition to democracy, the organizers added.

Among this year’s 24 laureates are prominent Bulgarian artists, performers, writers, and journalists. The LIK magazine, published by the Bulgarian News Agency, is also among the awardees.
