Emergency teams and volunteers in Sozopol are on full alert in connection with the expected heavy rainfall on Monday and Tuesday, said the press centre of Sozopol Municipality. 

The municipality's emergency repair team will conduct another inspection of all settlements in the area. If necessary, additional cleaning of ditches and streams will be carried out.

The mayors of the settlements have been informed again about the necessary preventive measures to protect the population during the expected heavy rainfall.

The municipality's volunteer unit will also be on call around the clock, according to the administration.
