The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Bulgarian Association for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (BAOVK) signed a long-term cooperation agreement on Monday. The document was signed by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev and BAOVK Chair Desislava Vasileva at the BTA National Press Club in Sofia.
Valchev noted that BTA already has such agreements in various fields with more than 50 organizations, which provide the agency with systematic information that can be used by all Bulgarian media outlets, as well as enabling it to collaborate with various industry organizations on events.
BTA's Director General also pointed out that BAOVK, established in 2021 by professionals in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related industries, has been virtually absent from BTA's news coverage. He referred to a report stating that BTA has published four articles so far and gave Vasileva a copy from the agency's archives. The first news about the association in BTA's broadcast came a year after BAOVK's establishment, when it became a member of The Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA) comprising 26 countries.
"Thanks to this agreement, we now expect to receive systematic information from yet another organization like yours", Valchev told Vassileva.
