The United Kingdom has extended until August 13 the validity of the general licence for the Bulgarian subsidiaries of Russia's Lukoil, the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) at the Treasury said on its website on Tuesday.

The general licence covers Lukoil Bulgaria, Lukoil Neftochim Burgas, Lukoil Aviation Bulgaria and Lukoil Bulgaria Bunker. The licence entered into force on November 14, 2025, and is now set to expire on August 13, 2026, according to documents published on the OFSI website. Initially, the licence was due to expire on February 14, 2026.
