A state of emergency was declared in Nessebar Municipality on Friday due to heavy rainfall. The BG-ALERT warning system was activated by Burgas Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov, urging citizens to avoid travel and, if possible, to remain in elevated areas.
Earlier, the Nessebar municipal administration announced that schools and kindergartens would remain closed on Friday. Urban bus services were suspended.
