site.btaParliament Ratifies Second Amendment to Recovery and Resilience Facility Financing Agreement between EC and Bulgaria

The National Assembly Thursday ratified at two readings the Second Amendment to the Recovery and Resilience Facility Financing Agreement between the European Commission and Bulgaria. Under the amendment, Bulgaria would receive an additional EUR 485,327,545, bringing the total EU grant support under the Recovery and Resilience Facility for this country to EUR 6,174,106,145.

The amendment to the Financing Agreement was approved by the Council of Ministers on August 13, 2025, as a basis for negotiations. It was signed in Brussels on August 18, 2025, on behalf of Bulgaria and on August 22, 2025, by the European Commission.
