Parliament Chair Nataliya Kiselova told journalists that she expects the majority of MPs will reject the fourth no-confidence motion against the government for failure in the environment and water sector, which MPs debated on Wednesday and are scheduled to vote on Friday.

The motion was tabled by the parliamentary group of Velichie, supported by MPs from Vazrazhdane and Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh).

“Of course, the government should be criticised. There are certainly issues that it could handle better. When criticism is levelled, it should not be on issues that have been piling up for years as problems, which the government is trying to solve, as is the case with illegal landfills. We need to see what we, as the National Assembly, can do to help the government. It belongs to us, to the state and to all citizens, not just to some of them,” Kiselova said.
