site.btaPM Zhelyazkov to Join High-Level Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will take part in the High-Level Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine, to be held in Rome on July 10 and 11, the government press service said on Wednesday.

The forum, organized by Italy and Ukraine, is the main annual event dedicated to supporting Ukraine and continues the series of high-level events focused on the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.

In recent years, similar conferences have been held in Lugano in 2022, in London in 2023, and in Berlin in 2024. The main aim of the forum is to affirm ongoing international support and future investment for Ukraine’s recovery and reforms. The conference in the Italian capital will bring together world political leaders, representatives of international organizations and financial institutions, members of the private sector, municipal and regional authorities, civil society, and the Ukrainian diaspora.

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will also take part via videoconference in a meeting of the so-called Coalition of the Willing. This is an initiative by United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron. The discussion aims to confirm efforts directed at securing a lasting resolution to the war against Ukraine.
