Continue the Change (CC) will not support votes of no confidence in the Zhelyazkov Cabinet until July 8. Their position remains unchanged and was confirmed on Wednesday in front of journalists in Parliament by CC Chairman Assen Vassilev.
"After July 8, we will support the vote against this government, which is extremely harmful for Bulgaria," Vassilev said.
On June 27, Vazrazhdane submitted a motion of no confidence over what it described as the Government’s failure in fiscal policy. The motion will be put to the vote on Friday.
Vassilev also said out that the CC supports the protest of young doctors, will participate in the round table that is being organized, and strongly hope that a non-partisan consensus will be found for Bulgarian doctors to be paid decently. Vassilev added that this concerns all medical professionals. He added that BGN 60 million are needed to ensure that Bulgarian medical professionals receive normal pay and do not flee abroad.
