Casting his vote in Sunday's parliamentary elections in Blagoevgrad, caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gurov said he voted for a country in which entering parliament is done with ideas and policies, not with bundles of cash.
Gurov said he voted for a state in which politicians govern with decency and do not become arrogant, and in which the police work lawfully, with honour and dignity, "and do not leave when the going gets tough".
Gurov added that he voted for a country in which the prosecution service investigates citizens' reports, not those filed by "bludgeons", for a European Bulgaria where people walk with their heads held high and no one can afford to pressure or humiliate them.
It is very important for all Bulgarian citizens to go to the polls, in order to show that free people and their voice are stronger than any pitiful attempts to manipulate the elections, Andrey Gurov also said.
