The partnership between Burgas Free University and the MARA University of Technology in Malaysia has over a decade of history, Prof. Jamaliah Said said during the 12th international scientific conference on modern management practices at the Burgas Free University on Tuesday.
"This is my third visit to Burgas. I am glad to see familiar faces, even some of the shop owners are the same, which speaks of stability and continuity. I hope this is not our last visit here," she emphasized.
She pointed out that the MARA University of Technology is among the leading universities in Malaysia. “I usually say that there are only two universities in the country, ours and all the others, as we are bigger than the other 19 combined, both in terms of number of students and academic staff. We have over a million graduates,” she stressed.
Said expressed satisfaction with the participation of representatives from Indonesia in the conference, as well as with the signed memorandum of understanding. “I hope that this partnership will expand not only with Malaysia, but also with Indonesia, and include more joint research,” she noted.
The 12th international scientific conference on modern management practices is organized by the Centre for Economic and Management Sciences at the Burgas Free University and brings together representatives of universities from all over the world.
