site.btaPM Glavchev, Transport Minister Gvozdeikov Discuss Upcoming Snap Parliamentary Elections

Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev met on Tuesday at the Council of Ministers with Caretaker Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeikov. The meeting focused on the active communication between the administration of the Council of Ministers and the Transport and Communications Minister, to whom the government entrusted the coordination of the implementation of activities related to the organisational and technical preparation of the upcoming snap parliamentary elections.

On June 9, Bulgaria will hold both national and European parliamentary elections.

The meeting stressed that all activities will be monitored on a daily basis by the relevant institutions. Discussions on the forthcoming elections are also to be held with the regional governors.

On April 15, Glavchev met with the Central Election Commission leadership at the Council of Ministers. The Prime Minister promised full cooperation from the government for the preparation and conduct of fair and transparent elections.
