site.btaVazrazhdane: Gurov Is Ex-President Radev's Choice for Caretaker PM

Vazrazhdane Party leader Kostadin Kostadinov Wednesday commented that President Iliana Iotova's choice of caretaker prime minister is actually the choice of her predecessor Rumen Radev. Earlier in the day, the head of State nominated Bulgarian National Bank Deputy Governor Andrey Gurov for the office.

Kostadinov went on to say that Radev "flirted with two political groups: Alliance for Rights and Freedoms and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria. We have heavy political reservations about Gurov, and are sure that he will live up to them one hundred per cent," the Vazrazhdane leader said. 

Asked whether Boyko Rashkov is suitable for interior minister, Kostadinov answered that he is a logical choice once Gurov will be prime minister. "Undeniably, Rashkov succeeded in smashing the bought and corporate vote in 2021," Kostadinov added.
