The Constitutional Court said on Friday that it has initiated a case, No. 18/2025, at the request of 51 members of the 51st National Assembly. The request seeks to determine the unconstitutionality of the amendments to the Act on Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Associated with Oil and Petroleum Products, adopted by the 51st National Assembly on November 7 and promulgated on November 14, on the grounds that they violate the Constitution and the fundamental right to inviolable private ownership.
The judge reporting on the case is Orlin Kolev. The full text of the request is available on the Constitutional Court’s website.
