As of Wednesday, Velichie will be operating differently in the National Assembly with the party now convinced that the other opposition parties are collaborating with the Government, said Velichie Floor Leader Ivelin Mihaylov to journalists in the corridors of Parliament on Wednesday.

“As we are a new political player, we have so far followed the established order and tried to be an opposition party that helps expose irregularities in the state and demand protection for the population, laws, businesses and all those who have been wronged,” the MP said. According to Mihaylov, when Velichie points out dysfunctional state institutions, there is no reaction. He said that from now on, Velichie will focus on important issues. “We will only respond to issues that we deem important and will not engage with the Government on others,” Mihaylov added.
