The Commandant of the Rakovski National Defence College, Major General Stayko Prokopiev, Wednesday said that in a world of dynamic change, complex crises, and growing risks, resilience is a strategic goal, but also a guarantee for national security and the development of society. He was speaking at the College's annual conference, which focused on "Enhancing National Resilience: Progress, Challenges, and the Way Forward."
The event brought together representatives of state authorities, scientific and educational institutions, and business - all those whose mission and responsibility are related to building stability, Major General Prokopiev said.
The conference focused on the three dimensions of national resilience: national policies, public-private partnerships, and strengthening academic contributions. The main discussions at the forum were about on Bulgaria's readiness to address contemporary challenges of various kinds, said the Ministry of Defence.
