Commenting on the end of the plenary session of Parliament, with MPs expected to go on summer vacation on Friday, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria MP and Co-chair of Yes, Bulgaria Ivaylo Mirchev said that the final word yet again belonged to GERB leader Boyko Borissov, who “has once again taken on the role of prime minister and is “building” highways”.

“We cannot understand whether he has returned to the role of prime minister or is simply preparing for elections, because he is once again “building” roads,” Mirchev told journalists.

He said that it should be clear that Bulgaria has three prime ministers: one formal; one who wants to be prime minister, namely Borissov; and a third who, according to Mirchev, is the real one in power, MRG-New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski.

Earlier on Thursday, the leader of GERB and Regional Development and Public Works Minister Ivan Ivanov told reporters in the Dyulino Pass that two highways are expected to be put into operation this year.

The takeover of the state continues to develop under this government, and this is yet another argument for a motion of no confidence in September, commented the other Co-chair of Yes, Bulgaria, Bozhidar Bozhanov, referring to Ivan Petleshkov and a factory for contraband cigarettes.

"Our goal is to stop the police work of the Anti-Corruption Commission," Bozhanov said in response to a question about the future of the commission.
