The 25th Hard Music and Sounds United (H.M.S.U.) Summer Festival will be held in Sofia's Borisova Gradina Park on July 19 and 20, the organizers from Fest Team said Wednesday. The oldest music festival in Bulgaria will bring 25 artists from the country and abroad to Vidas Art Arena.

Among the performers are The Upbeats duo from New Zealand, who will give a concert on July 20. Their song Dead Limit is among the ten most popular tracks of all time on the world drum and bass stage.

British producer Aries is another international guest of the festival. With an original Born on Road label and a veteran with a 30-year career, he is among the most respected artists on the world stage. His name is associated with the proliferation of the dubwise sound in jungle music.

The festival programme also features Poland's Skrimor, who is one of the fastest growing and most impressive artists on the global neurofunk scene, and Serbian artist Euphorics, who has been working on the drum and bass stage for over 15 years, starting out as a vinyl collector.

Hard Music and Sounds United is a Bulgarian music movement founded in 1999 with the mission to promote the drum and bass culture. Since then, H.M.S.U. has organized hundreds of events featuring global and regional artists, and thanks to them, the Bulgarian scene is now the most developed in the Balkans. H.M.S.U. artists are among the most recognizable names in the genre and often perform at leading festivals and club nights at home and abroad, becoming ambassadors of Bulgarian electronic music.
