site.btaBulgaria Wins 16 Gold Medals on Penultimate Day of Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup


Bulgaria has won 16 gold, 12 silver, and 23 bronze medals at the Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup held at BOK Hall in Budapest. The competition features 2,643 athletes from 52 countries.
Alexandra Georgieva now has three World Cup titles in point fighting: in the -55 kg and -60 kg individual categories, as well as in the women’s team battle alongside Kristina Nikolova and Anelia Todorova.
Kaloyan Traykov also earned double gold in point fighting, winning in both the -79 kg and -84 kg divisions.
Todor Portarski and Boris Despotov each secured two gold medals - one in individual point fighting and another in team battle with Petar Grigorov.
Alexandra Milusheva and Gabriela Naydenova won two gold and two bronze medals each.
The competition in Bucharest is still underway, with 25 more bouts involving Bulgarian fighters scheduled to take place in the semifinals and finals.
