The 11th edition of the traditional longest Bulgarian horo chain dance in Copenhagen will take place in the city center on May 25, 2025, the organizers from Dilmana folklore dance group said on their Facebook page on Wednesday.
"Get ready for an unforgettable cultural journey during the Longest Horo in Copenhagen. For the eleventh consecutive year, our Dilmana Folklore Dance Group invites everyone who wishes to experience the enchanting world of Bulgarian folklore. We promise you a captivating day filled with vibrant music, colorful dances, and the warmth of tradition,” said the dancers, adding: “Whether you’re an experienced dancer or simply curious about Bulgarian and Balkan folk dances and traditions, this is your chance to immerse yourself in a rich cultural experience.”
According to the shared information, the event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM local time in Enghave Park in Copenhagen.
The Dilmana Folklore Dance Group is an amateur international ensemble founded in 2010 by volunteers driven by a “passion for Bulgarian dances, songs, and traditions.”
The group is led by Dima Ilieva and Nadya Vassileva.
