North Macedonia Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conferred on the sidelines of an informal meeting in Athens. Kovachesvki underscored “the consistent and strong support for Ukraine on behalf of North Macedonia and the efforts in defence of the country and restoring freedom and peace and stability in the region,” the government press service in Skopje said Tuesday.
Zelenskyy briefed Kovachevski about the latest developments in Ukraine and thanked North Macedonia for its support. „Condemning the brutal military aggression by Russia against independent and sovereign Ukraine, Kovachevski reiterated that North Macedonia will continue to support Ukraine in its defence and protection of its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the press release says.
