Bulgarian academics will be guest lecturers at Baskent University in Ankara in the upcoming academic year. Assoc. Prof. Vladimir Zhechev and Assistant Professor Selvet Niyazieva from Varna University of Economics have been invited as guest lecturers at Baskent University. They will teach the course "Brand Management" in Turkish and English, which is a pilot programme, the Varna University of Economics told BTA.

Varna Univeristy of Economics assisted Baskent University to be included in the European network of DUKENET.

Niyazieva visited Baskent University in the Turkish capital last week. 

The cooperation between the Varna University of Economics and the two Turkish universities continues to develop after the conference organised by the Varna University of Economics, Ankara University and Baskent University in Ankara in April and the International Staff Week organised in Varna in July. Lecturers from Baskent and Ankara Universities were among the guests at the event in Varna.

Varna University of Economics told BTA that during the forum in the Black Sea city, opportunities for joint bachelor's and master's degree programmes of Varna University of Economics with Baskent University and Ankara University were discussed. Opportunities for the implementation of the initiatives are currently being explored. 

In Varna, projects under the Erasmus+ programme with the University of Economics and Pedagogy of Qarshi, Uzbekistan, were also discussed, the organisers said.

The fourth International Staff Week in Varna was held between July 3 and 7. Representatives from more than 15 countries, including Turkiye, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal and Latvia participated in the forum.
