site.btaBTA to Present Latest Publications by Bulgarian Authors Every Monday in New Column

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will present the latest publications by Bulgarian authors every Monday in a new column titled Knigopis [Bibliography]. The column will be part of BTA’s news bulletin for knowledge and culture, LIK, under the hashtag #Knigopis.

The column will compile information from publishers and authors about new releases, as well as feature materials such as interviews, reports from book launches, and literary discussions.

In addition to new publications by Bulgarian authors, Knigopis will also highlight works with a significant contribution to translation into the Bulgarian language.

Since 2023, BTA’s specialized LIK editorial team has been distributing news about Bulgarian books and authors, book publishing, libraries, and community centres [chitalishta]. The Agency has a cooperation agreement with the Bulgarian Book Association (BBA) for systematic provision and publication by BTA, with free public access, of materials from BTA with cleared copyright, as well as for media partnership for all events organized by BBA. BTA has also established a National Book Press Club, which operates at all book fairs across the country.
