Canadian singer-songwriter Jonathan Roy will perform in Bulgaria on Saturday presenting a new show and a new album at Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture, the organizers from Fest Team said. The concert will be part of his European tour.
“Every song is a journey inward,” Roy said, quoted by Fest Team. “I want people to feel like they're not just listening, but living these stories with me.”
The organizers reported that following his completely sold-out club performance in Sofia in 2024, Roy once again chose Bulgaria - this time to present his new project to a larger audience. Jonathan Roy also sent a special video message to his fans in Bulgaria, in which he expressed his love for the Bulgarian audience.
“Alternating between strength and fragility, he tells deeply moving stories. More than 450 million streams worldwide testify to the universality of his sound - both contemporary and authentic. The themes in his songs - love, hope, and the search for self - create a sense of intimacy even when performed on a large stage,” Fest Team said.
Following the success of the album Life Distortions, Roy continues to explore the boundaries between vulnerability and strength in his latest project, Symphony of Doubts, produced by Connor Seidel.
