site.btaUPDATED Croatian President Milanovic Pays Official Visit to Bulgaria
Croatian President Zoran Milanovic arrived on an official visit to Bulgaria on Thursday at the invitation of President Rumen Radev, the presidential press secretariat said. The talks between the two presidents will focus on the prospects for expanding Bulgarian-Croatian cooperation, deepening top-level dialogue, as well as issues on the regional and European agenda.
President Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva welcomed Croatian President Milanovic and his wife Sanja Music Milanovic with an official ceremony in front of the presidential building.
Radev and Milanovic held a one-on-one meeting, after which the plenary talks between the official delegations will take place. Afterwards, the presidents gave statements to the media.
During the visit, Milanovic is scheduled to confer with caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev and National Assembly Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov. The Croatian head of State will also deliver a lecture before students of the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia.
