The Cabinet decided to establish a National and Organizational Committee to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the outbreak of the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising - a 1903 mass revolt of the Macedonian and Thracian Bulgarians against the Ottoman rule, organized by the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Organization (IMARO).

According to the government decision, the Organizing Committee should prepare and the National Committee should approve a national plan with specific events to mark the anniversary.
