Turkiye exported USD 261.8 billion worth of products around the world in 2024, according to World's Top Exports. Bulgaria ranked 13th among Turkiye's trading partners, with USD 5.1 billion in Turkish exports.
European countries accounted for 57.1% of Turkiye's exports by value, 24.8% was sold to importers in Asia, 8.3% worth of goods to buyers in Africa, and 6.2% to the United States.
Among Turkiye's top 25 trading partners, which accounted for 70.9% of the country's total exports in 2024, Germany ranked first, with Turkish exports amounting to USD 20.4 billion, 7.8% of total Turkish exports.
The US imported Turkish products worth USD 16.4 billion, 6.2% of total Turkish exports.
The UK was Turkiye's third-largest export market, with USD 15.3 billion, 5.8% of total exports, up 22.7% from 2023.
Further down the list are Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Romania and Poland.
Bulgaria is followed by Greece with USD 4.8 billion in Turkish exports and Belgium with USD 4.4 billion.
Turkish exports to Russia fell by 21.4% in 2024 compared with 2023, totaling USD 8.56 billion.
Among other major partners in 2024 were Iraq, Egypt (which saw a 24.6% increase), the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Iran, China and Ukraine.
