Based on information of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Thessaloniki, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry Sunday confirmed that there is a deceased Bulgarian citizen in Greece, the Government Information Service told BTA in response to an inquiry following media publications.

Greek authorities are conducting an investigation and the man's relatives have been informed, the Government Information Service said.

According to the 24 Chasa daily, the 63-year-old man was found dead in a camper at a White Sea beach in Greece two days ago, near the Nea Kardylia settlement. He was living there alone. After he failed to answer his daughter’s phone calls, she asked someone to go check on him. This third person found the dead Bulgarian. According to the police, this is a homicide case.
