site.btaGovernment Approves Agreement on Social Security with Brazil

The government approved a draft Administrative Agreement on the implementation of the Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Government press service on Wednesday. Minister of Labour and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov is authorized to execute the document.

The Social Security Agreement defines the regulations for employment in Bulgaria and Brazil and outlines the procedures for granting and paying pensions to individuals who have contributed to the social security systems of both countries. The Administrative Agreement details the rules and procedures for implementing the provisions of the Social Security Agreement.
