By order of Prime Minister Rumen Radev, Reneta Koleva has been appointed Deputy Minister of Environment and Water as announced by the government press service on Monday.
At the end of May, Kostadin Geshev was appointed Deputy Minister of Environment and Water.
In 2008, Koleva graduated from the New Bulgarian University, majoring in Law, according to information on the website of the Ministry of Environment and Water. She worked as a legal advisor in the private sector. In June 2012, she joined the Enterprise for Management of Environmental Protection Activities (EPMA). In April 2014, she became Director of the Directorate for Administrative, Legal and Financial Services, and in September of the same year, she was appointed Acting Executive Director. On August 4, 2015, she took the position of Executive Director of the EPMA.
