site.btaDelegation Led by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to Attend Pope Leo XIV’s Inauguration

A government delegation headed by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will attend today’s solemn Mass in the Vatican marking the start of the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV, the Government press service said here on Sunday. 

After the mass, the Pope will greet the leaders of the delegations present.

The Bulgarian delegation also includes Deputy Prime Ministers Atanas Zafirov and Grozdan Karadjov.

Other dignitaries expected are US Vice-President JD Vance, French Prime Minister François Bayrou, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Belgium’s King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, and the Netherlands’ Queen Máxima and Prime Minister Dick Schoof.
