A twenty-three-year-old man was injured as a result of the overnight drone attack in Odesa, the head of the city's military administration, Serhiy Lysak, said on his Telegram channel on Monday.

"During the night, the Russians once again attacked Odesa. In the city's Kyivskyi borough, five residential buildings, as well as a dormitory building, were damaged," the statement by Lysak said.

All relevant services are working to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Bulgarians in the Odesa region number more than 150,000 and are the third largest population group in Ukraine, according to official census data. About 50,000-60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
