At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved a proposal to be tabled to the National Assembly seeking the repeal of a parliamentary decision adopted on October 31, 2025, which introduced a temporary measure restricting the export and intra-EU supply of petroleum products from Bulgaria to other European Union member states.

Under the proposal, Parliament would repeal the temporary restrictions covering the export and intra-EU supply of certain petroleum products, including diesel fuel with and without biofuel content, kerosene, industrial fuels, and medium oils derived from bituminous minerals.
